Who are we?
ChromieZone.com is an online, multi-vendor marketplace featuring Down Syndrome Awareness products. Shoppers will find unique products and designs from independent and small businesses. ‘Multi-Vendor’ means that the sellers are a community of different, independent store owners all offering their own products. Think Amazon, Etsy, ebay, and so on. We strive to have most, if not all of our vendors closely tied to our Down Syndrome community.
Why was ChromieZone.com created?
The vision of ChromieZone.com was first realized at our first Buddy Walk in Raleigh, NC. We were amazed and moved by the fellowship, camaraderie, and entrepreneurship of vendors promoting their own Down Syndrome Awareness products and designs.
Considering what we could also give back to the community, the answer was immediate – create a way to help the vendors expand their reach!
How do we help the Down Syndrome community?
We have built this site to be a user-friendly way for people in the Down Syndrome community to open an online store. Many folks in our community are blessed with incredible creativity and product development, and want the added layer of expanded market reach.
Recognizing the challenges presented with selling on Amazon, ebay, Etsy, and others, we strive to fill all the gaps! It starts with support, and for that we are dedicated to doing whatever it takes to help our Store Owners.
